Location: Zurich Workload: Full-time Your tasks: • Lead AI/ML projects, ensuring robust and scalable deployment of machine learning solutions • Design and implement advanced AI/ML architectures and pipelines • Optimize model performance and manage large-scale data processing • Collaborate with AI/ML scientists to translate research into production-ready systems • Automate model training, evaluation, and deployment workflows • Manage high-impact AI projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility • Partner with leadership and product teams to drive AI adoption and innovation • Mentor junior AI/ML engineers, promote technical excellence and serve as a source of expertise in machine learning engineering • Support product owners in refining user stories and defining acceptance criteria • Work with software architects and other teams to integrate ML models into production systems • Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure high-quality standards • Participate in interview processes and contribute to hiring decisions • Stay current with state-of-the-art technology and best practices in software engineering Your profile: Master’s in AI, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience • 4 to 6 years of software engineering experience • Experience with complex technical projects across teams and cross-funcational collaboration • Experience with AI system design and architecture • Experience with scalable machine learning deployment • Experience with MLOps and automation • Experience mentoring engineers • Experience in medical device development is a plus • Experience building end-to-end systems as a software engineer (or equivalent) • Experience in one of the ML model development libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
